Early Christmas

In the previous post, you saw us cutting our first Uwharrie christmas tree. It was a beautiful tree when cut, beautiful when brought into the house but that beautiful tree really put some mud on my face when it fell one night spilling ornaments, water and lights across the floor. Worse, I was in DC for work and unable to help with the clean up.

With the Christmas tree put back together, we welcomed Grandma and Pops for an early Christmas on Saturday. Everyone had a great time - LM with her new camera (expect a new blog soon); Florence and her train (choo-choo ... not to be confused with "ho-ho" aka Santa). And Dad wrote a future bestseller - Grand Canyon Adventures with Will and Clarkson. A must read for any future hikers.
