Indiana

The four of us drove to Moneterey, Indiana to visit with Will's Great Aunt Alice and Great Uncle Clip. From Durham, NC to Monterey, IN is a 12-13 hour trip one way. We left on a Wednesday after the girls had dinner and drove to Lexington, KY, spent the night, and then finished the drive on Thursday. We had a wonderful visit-- attended the Potato Festival where Aunt Alice's choral group gave a performance. We ate ice cream and took a ride on a wagon pulled by Alice and Clip's horses-- Wilma and Freddie. Florence loved the horses (many of you know that vet school looks promising for her). Will even threw some hay bales. The ride home was long but we did have a good visit.
